if you can, please watch scream: the tv series LIVE tonight. the ratings have decreased immensely since season one. in my opinion, that was mostly due to the terrible time slot that this season originally had, which was mondays at 11. thankfully, mtv seemed to take notice of that and changed the time slot back to season one’s, which is TUESDAYS AT 10 - a much more reasonable time slot. season 2 has only gotten better compared to the premiere and even season one. yet, the ratings have still dropped. episode 4, season 2′s most recent episode, was imo one of the best episodes of the whole series. and yet, it hit a series low with less than 300,000 viewers, while season one usually had around 500,000-700,000 viewers at least. it’s disappointing that a show like scream, with such complex characters & thrilling storylines, is in danger of being cancelled while other, less entertaining mtv shows are being dragged out.
