aside from a slightly simpler outfit, the main difference in his levelled up look is the pushed back hair on one side, meaning I always have to draw his marking (and maybe, just maybe, draw it consistently lol)

I think of him as an early silly comic relief character, all "ruh-roh!" and "oh jeez, how are we gonna get out of this one?", but then he returns like three seasons later with a serious level up, and everyone is like "oh, oh, this guy, he can do something now!" only for this to be subverted and him to be just as--if not more--useless than before
