I didn't strike today, because I love my job and I'm happy that I'm able to go to work each day, to be appreciated and paid as much as my male colleagues. But I did wear black, to show my fight and support for all things related women and gender that are still a problem in this world, that is rapidly changing but very slowly adapting. For all women who are oppressed. For all women who suffer and have suffered from physical, verbal and any other kind of violence. For all women who are not treated equally by their partner, their government and their society. For all women who are not paid as much as their male colleagues, although they practice the same job. For all women who can't decide themselves what happens with and within their own body. For all women who feel they have ever been treated badly because of their gender. But also for all women who dream, of a better, more equal, more fair world, because hoping and dreaming and fighting are the most important things we can do and should keep doing. #internationalwomensday #women #equality #equalrights
