Tate couldn’t quite figure out why he was here, she had naturally assumed they wouldn’t speak much after everything that had happened. But she appreciated his visit nonetheless it was nice to see him, and she glanced at him in the mirror giving him a quick once over, she was a sucker for a guy in a suit, then smiled at his compliment. “Thank you so do you.” She nodded toward his outfit. “Very dashing.” Then she shrugged, “You know I thought I would be, but surprisingly I’m not. I’m trying to treat it like a concert, and I think that helps.” She turned her attention back to her jewelry sliding on her rings. Thanks! That means a lot and I really appreciate that.” Finally selecting her necklaces she made her way over to him. “Help me hook these? They’re always such a pain.”

louis looked down at his outfit when she complimented him, a smile pulling at the corners of his lips as he found himself feeling bashful. it should be a passing compliment, but the way that his mouth struggled to form the right words to speak in return spoke volumes. his lips formed the words of something vulgar and inappropriate, his eyes still lingering on her ass until she turned back to face him. his previous compliment of ' amazing ' just didn't cover it. "it is a concert. everyone out there - they're your bitches," he smiles softly, a huge contrast to what he's thinking about as he made his way over to help her hook the necklace. he took he jewelry, stood beside her and swept her hair to the side. "so," a moment's pause as he concentrated on hooking the necklace, "when your stylist figures out your stage costumes do you just tell her to pick the sexiest thing possible ? i have a feeling you're all people are going to be talking about. for your performance and how hot you look."

The singer was putting working on the finishing touches on her outfit which was copious amounts of jewelry when she heard a knock on the door, assuming it was someone telling her it was almost time to go, she rushed to open it. “Hey almost ready,” she muttered working on her jewelry belt before realizing who was actually at the door, she grinned. “Oh hey!” She couldn’t remember the last time she had actually seen Louis, it had to have been when their friend group was still coupled up. “How did you?” She began to ask then shook her head. “You know what never mind, come on in.” She stepped aside, “It’s good to see you.” Letting out another smile she made her way back over to her vanity looking over her remaining jewelry options.

he tried not to appear awkward when he stood at the door, even though his smile probably skewed that way. louis isn't sure what motivated him to come and say hi to tate, maybe just wanting to be a nice guy. he walked into the room when invited in, and he tried not to make it obvious as he noticed her performance outfit. keep it polite. "you look amazing, you nervous ?" louis has always found it impressive being around singers. it's something he could never do, acting very much his safe zone where the director could call ' cut ' and editors worked overtime to keep him looking good. the vulnerability of performance was so interesting to him. he wants to hug her, but being so close to her seems suddenly risky - out of nowhere. and his eyes slip down to her ass as she looks over her vanity. "you're gonna absolutely smash it. i mean it."

louis could still see olivia as she made her way across the carpet, everyone desperate for her attention, her time, the perfect camera angle as they screamed at her to ' look here ' and ' turn there '. liv had been the superstar throughout their whole relationship, and louis never got tired of watching her shine. she was born to do this, didn't even have to try to have all the eyes on her ... his included. he'd chuckled at her use of the word ' dashing ', and pressed his lips together to keep himself from laughing even more as she fumbled over her words, unable to disguise how fondly he thought of her sometimes dorky nature. they usually matched each other in this way. "thank you, really. and you really do look beautiful tonight," they'd used to speak at a million miles an hour together, but louis chose his words carefully now. his speech was slowed down, careful, like he had a true fear of saying the wrong thing. "i'm good though. running on, like, four hours sleep but kind of managing to keep up. i'm leaving for london tomorrow so, i'm really excited to sleep on the flight." was this too much information ? is over sharing weird ? what else was he supposed to say ? "how's the rest of tour going anyway - i could probably still recite your setlist by heart." louis wasn't sure why he added that last piece of information, but he's pretty sure he added an air of awkwardness to them by doing so.

𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬: you and nick and your chemistry is going to be the gay awakening of a lot of guys, i hope you know. the watch while high hit even better, the jokes were the funniest shit i ever heard. 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬: specifically the way you said 'snob' in the first scene where you're at the wedding and you're like 'no! he's such a snob!' god your accent gets me. 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬: well, any casting calls. although i think i'd be too excited to do any acting on a set like that.

jenna: hey! jenna: its so weird to think about, right? we really did talk about it so much. it's crazy and i have no idea how i'm even managing all of this. the table reads have been going well. jenna: i hope you're right! we're supposed to be going filming soon, aren't we? i can barely keep my days straight.

𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬: you're really here, there and everywhere these days. but it feels really good that you were able to find time for this project too. 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬: my call sheet says we start tuesday, if your first day is the same as mine! maybe we can catch up before we start shooting? properly? 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬: or get dinner the night before? 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬: and of course, happy birthday j. i hope you got the flowers :)

daisy: yes, i am!! i am so excited. theatre is my first love, it's so exciting. it's going to be an amaazing show. daisy: i am in london right now, yes. are you here?
