There was no stopping Hannah when she heard his voice. She moved as quickly as she could manage in order to wrap her arms around her husband holding him as tightly as she could. âI donât know,â she admitted wishing that there was more of an answer than that. But she knew that they were trying to figure out what was going on. Perhaps she should have waited to help out with that process she knew though that nothing would keep her from her husband. âHow are you handling it though? You know you donât have to just be okay or say youâre okay. You can tell me whatâs going on.â Hannah knew she was going to have to tell him about his mother too, but she wasnât entirely sure on how. He deserved to know though. Of course he did.
âI donât know.â Neville repeated heavily. Of everything he ever imagined to happen in his life, ever seeing either one of his parents actually recognize him let alone be sentient wasnât on the list. They had been alive, but they were gone. To say nothing of looking like they did in the few pictures he had of being a baby. âI donât know what Iâm supposed to do. Or think, or feel, or... I donât know, Hannah. About anything.â That wasnât exactly a new feeling for him, but it didnât make it any less difficult to deal with.
