I got a T-Corp aged whiskey, an issue of Fixers Weekly, a couple of preserved organs, not gonna question that, some tubs of ice cream, and a bottle of blade polish.

Albina’s body hitched, she still wasn’t quite used to this new metal body. She cursed quietly and fixed the mistake the sudden stutter of her body had caused. Each small movement mattered in this project, it- she, had to be perfect. Otherwise, would it even be worth it? Sacrificing her body for this one piece? She tried not to think about it.

Slowly, gently, she stitched together veins, and attached them back to the heart. Until, it began to beat. She breathed a sigh of relief, the hard part was over. ‘Fascia’ was alive.

But the work wasn’t over, not by a long shot. She had to continue. Mutilating this flesh and bone that once belonged to her, all for the art form, all for Fascia. With each step closer her thoughts continued to drift, was this really worth it? All this for a dying art form?
