I took inspiration from another art piece I've seen out there and gave my boy here red spider lilies. I feel like they would spontaneously grow up around where ever he stays. If he stays in one place long enough and there was ground for them to grow in.

More of my former villain. Calling him reformed or an anti-hero isn't quite right. He believes in free-will and that is a very good thing for everyone in that universe.
Tonight I was working on something different and thought to myself "Black nail polish is a Johnny thing." So there we have it.
My take on my friend @antiquecipher's character Wren "The Shrike" Fulton in their late 30s. They have definitely given up being a hero. Which is why they still have their costume and keep getting involved in superhero BS.
I especially love adult Wren, who perpetually wakes up "Too Tired for This." Which is really the adult experience.

Long ago in the first superhero games that would one day become the games, and then novels of Cobalt City I made this villain. Well, this is him imagined a few decades after that game. He was the product of me wondering what it would be like to go from a normal teenager to the most powerful telepath the world had. Cosmic, god-like, and with no innate ability to control it. His path to villain-hood was a desperate need to make the world quieter with the decision making skills of a teenager. The heroes stopped him by convincing him that they would figure out how to suppress his powers if he turned himself in.
It is interesting to see what themes and designs I've been carrying around for so long.

Even though @vaultedthewall was unable to make the game tonight I did a sketch of their character. Hopefully we will have another chance to put these characters together.
Playing in a Locked Tomb one shot later today, which is using the Thirsty Sword Lesbians rules. Nearly down to the wire, but I finished this art of my PC, Thanasisa Beowulf a 2nd house cavalier.
I suggested the ship name should be "Jirk" and my friend snorted their soda. I think that makes it official.

Yes I'm drawing a whole lot of him and Felix, but being inspired to draw is worth the risk of other people giving me the side eye. I am also a believer in the reason for gratuitous back shots are to show off scars. He also looks best somewhat injured, imo.
