The only thing I like about Ashton is her dog, and I would be perfectly content with her not making another team. But...it’s not that simple. If a Worlds team was being formed on January 1st when the new seniors become seniors, no she probably wouldn’t be on the team, but the next Worlds team isn’t being formed for another 11ish months. It’s a little premature to say that she’ll definitively not be on another team because a lot can happen within that time.

Pauline’s D score was within the range of the other finalists’ D scores (5.4-5.7). Ashton’s was a clear outlier. Ashton’s usual D score was between .5-1 point lower than everyone else’s. I don’t think people would be talking about Ashton’s D score if all of the other competitors’ were in the mid-5s.

My favorite thing about her is that when you watch her, you can see how she could be capable of more.

With all the upcoming seniors and their potential (and current abilities), I think it's more than just Simone that will challenge Ragan next year...

I think it was the tight judging that wasn't allowing higher scores, not the code.

God I can’t wait until she competes the full-out.

The problem with that is that they'd be exerting themselves for an additional 30 seconds, likely resulting in something suffering--dance/choreography or tumbling difficulty. We'd probably see a lot of roll around on the floor, moving slowly and arm waving, etc. to catch their breath and save energy for other things, or we'd see a couple easier passes.

According to the GymCastic interview, Maggie Haney didn’t really want Riley to compete at Classics but Valeri wanted to see her because she was “so new”…

I’m so glad that every baseball fan has played baseball. And football fans have all played football. NBA fans are all basketball players.

Who (aside from Shawn Johnson and a bunch of uneducated four year fans) is saying this? I haven't seen it on tumblr or twitter. Are people on YouTube saying this? YouTube fans are notoriously absurd.
