âSander stood up and Lucas followed anxiously, worrying at his bottom lip with his teeth.
âYou donât have to tell me anything,â Sander affirmed, and Jens gave Lucas another look, his gaze questioning. Lucas just peered back at him helplessly. Sander continued then, glancing between the two of them, âBut if something happened to you that we should know about-â
âSomething happen- no, Sander, Iâm fine,â Jens interrupted, pursuing when Sander tilted his head. âIâm fine! Iâm- I just- it-â
He paused, taking a deep breath and gazing up at the ceiling. âI- okay, Iâm gonna tell you something that none of my friends know.â
âJens-â Lucas started, eyes wide and voice high.
âI dance,â he admitted.â
Or, Jens dances ballet and for 10 years, no one but his family and, later on, his boyfriend knew. This is how his friends find out.
