Spider-Man™
Ned and Peter are at the mall. They had just gotten out of school and wanted to look at any new video games, maybe check out some of the Star Wars merch they had. He really wasn't in the mood, but Ned insisted that they go. Obviously, this was a ploy to cheer him, something he appreciated but felt was unnecessary. Recently, Peter was having a rough time because of J. Jonah Jameson and his mission to make people see Spider-Man as a villain or "menace" as he liked to say. He tried not to let the comments and accusations get to him, but it was difficult considering that it was in every newspaper.
MJ was the one who suggested that they go to the mall in the first place. She was more honest about her intentions.
"Stop pouting and go do something," she told Ned and him when they came over to her place.
They were walking around when Ned stopped dead in his tracks.
"Dude, Peter."
"Wha-" he turned to where he was pointing.
In front of him, there is a large display case with…Spider-Man-themed merchandise. Spider-Man bouncy balls. Spider-Man action figures. Spider-Man cups. Spider-Man socks.
"Holy shit, man, you have your own merch now." Peter felt the heat rise to his cheeks and spread down his neck. He could feel tears form in the corner of his eyes. "It's like you're a real Avenger now!"
Peter sat next to the display case for another ten minutes before finally being convinced to move. He was so distracted that he didn't even point out how Ned just announced his secret identity to everyone within hearing distance at a very public place. Thankfully, no one was listening or paying attention to what two random nerdy teenagers were doing. The mall employees were starting to take notice and staring at them.

Tony was behind the Spider-Man-themed items, he had him copyrighted the moment he stepped out of his apartment after recruiting him for Germany. They were only released in stores recently, and Pepper made sure that New York would be the first place where they would be sold (she wasn't the head of his marketing team for nothing). He didn't tell Peter because he wanted to surprise him, but the kid's friends beat him to it. While he was disappointed not to see his reaction in person, the security footage from the mall they were at was a hell of a consolation prize. Every cent he made on the product is being placed into a separate bank account in Peter's name.
He would receive access to the account when he turned 18, as agreed upon by his aunt May who helped him put the whole thing together after deciding to stay silent on the matter until Peter's 18th birthday. The kid would have never accepted any sort of profit from his side job. Knowing him, he will just donate the entire thing to charity. So he would be calling it back pay for all the hours he has put in as his personal intern. Either way, by how sales are going, he will never worry about money as he has for most of his life. He might not be able to protect him from defamation (believe him, he has tried) but at least show him what people really think of him.
Spider-Man is New York's hero, and nothing out of that mustached creep's mouth could do anything to change that.
