As someone raised on Shonen anime, you know I have to include an obligatory training arc.
As mentioned in DragonGirl's and Felyna's refs, the "multi limbed" martial arts is a fairly common thing in this universe as many supers mutate extra limbs and most of the ones that do are highly prehensile.
This character went through several redesigns before landing on this one, but he is a retired superhero with the ability to generate multiple appendages. Quite handy when you lost your human arm... less so when you have to keep your identity as a super hidden, so he lives fairly secluded and occasionally takes trainees who he deems need some extra help.
Which is DragonGirl after her first event where she badly damaged her wings so this is a little physical therapy.
