Men: Some may feel too insecure to even admit they are insecure. The world has deemed women to be the ones with low self esteem when really it affects both sexes. Whether it be from finances, sex life, physical appearance or your goals as boyfriends, husbands, or fathers, you can't base your sense of worth on how successful you are. Heart check: what do you deem as successful? is it equivalent to what Christ has called us to do or what the world is telling us?

Matthew 16:26

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

Insecurity drives men to conquer it with pride, lust, wealth, and hate. All the trash talk in the world cannot make you more manly. Pornography does not make you more of a man but takes away your strength and the desire for satisfaction in a healthy relationship with God and your spouse. Money becomes idolatry and hate becomes your master. 

James 1:14-15

 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

Is this worth your eternity? Believe in Jesus Christ who will literally set you free from the bondages of a broken world. 

John 16:33

Women: please stop looking at men as mirrors to see your reflection of self worth and value. Why look for confirmation in a man who is just as broken as you are? The man that you love most dearly and rely on so much is not a permanent thing in your life nor does he want to be your God. If you are married and he dies first, what then will make you feel beautiful and worth something?

True self Worth is knowing who you are as a Daughter in Christ. Something you can't earn. The lord is pleased to have you in his kingdom.

Luke 12:32

"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

There is a difference between having salvation and having soul satisfaction. Once you believe in Jesus Christ, don't settle for just that. He wants you to have the treasures and life more abundantly on this earth just as much as he wants you to have eternity. Allow him to heal you, strengthen you, mold you, lead you, and fix all your broken pieces from scratch. Don't just try to use the super glue that you get from Walmart to put back together the pieces of your spirit.

I corinthians 15:55-57 ! 

"Where, o death, is your victory, where, o death, is your sting?

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

The biggest inspiration for my art is the One and Only Jesus. God is clearly the author and creator of all canvases and all materials to be painted with/on. I'm just trying to let Him use me.
