“Ah, so you’re a friend of his?” Aries questioned. “Or something more?

“Well, I-uh.. I live with him.” Lauren said, not knowing what Parker wanted her to say. 

Kai tossed her onto the bed before jumping on beside her, “Trying to make you laugh and smile.

“That is because life is way too short for drama in my books,” Kai smiled, placing the bottle and ice cream down on the bedside table before picking Lauren up and carrying her to the bed.

“Because it makes me more fun to be around.” Kai smiled, “Plus, you always know where to get some good fun when you want it.”

“Oh I know, I think you kind of like it, actually.” He joked before grabbing a bottle of Captain, “Of course.”

“I see nothing wrong with being a horny sweetheart.” Kai chuckled. “Booze it is.” He took her hand and walked into his room, opening his closet to show his immense amount of alcohol, “Pick your poison, princess.”

“I thought I was always a sweetheart,” Kai teased, closing the door. “Well it’s your choice of what we do and what order we do it in.”

“Nothing but the best for the best girl,” Kai chuckled stepping aside, “Come on in, we can do whatever you like, I’ve got board games, Netflix, movies, alcohol, whatever.”

Kai opened the door with a smile, “Hey there gorgeous,” He spoke out holding up a pint of ice cream, “Your favorite.”

Kai: See you in 5?

Kai: It wasn't intentional, I swear

Kai: Want to come hang out at my place?

Kai: I have ice cream?

“Fine.”

Kai: You and your boo thing looked like you were having a not-so-fun discussion

Kai: Need a hug?

Lauren: Are you watching me Kai?

“Okay.”
