She noticed an older gentleman reading a very tattered and old book. She squinted her eyes to try to see the text underneath his fingertips. Which caused her to look like she was glaring at him a bit too long.

Her memory was a bit fuzzy but she did remember those bright ember eyes and she groaned in frustration.

“I was hoping you were left behind. Of course you would follow me here.”

She was very annoyed at the situation she was in. She feels like her life, no matter where she was at it always pulled her in places that she really didn’t want to go. She was scoffing at the people she was walking past, keeping to herself for the most part. Nothing really caught her attention, until she noticed a tall boy in a strange white uniform. She noticed his soft features and studied his face. 

... He was kind of cute. Hm. She had an idea.

Looking around, she decided to ‘accidentally’ bump into him and bring out the sweetest voice she could muster.

“Oh! I’m so sorry! Did I hurt you in anyway? I’m... a bit lost!”

“It’s been a year since I’ve met you.”

“Should have punched you in the face back then. Don’t you have other people to stalk around? Or am I just your favorite?”

She didn’t feel like being nice today or helping anyone out but she noticed that the girl in front of her dropped something from her back pocket. It was a hair clip in the shape of a cat of some kind. She would have kept it for herself but I guess she could do the girl a favor.

Great, it’s another one with cat ears or whatever the fuck. Is this person going to stalk her to like the other one?

... At least this one is kind of cute.

Blake couldn’t help herself but to grin at such a statement. This girl sure was something, that’s true. Thus naturally it had been rather easy to find amusement within the zeal and confidence Maggie had showed off shamelessly. 

“Is that right?” 

A simple inquiry before leaning over to peer inside from the doorway. For a moment Blake quietly watched and listened, eyes following those who had enjoyed themselves dancing and drinking without a care. After assessing the situation Blake pushed herself up and off the wall, both hands now folded behind her back.

“If you’re as good as you claim to be…” She turned her gaze towards the other girl, graciously holding out one hand as the other stayed promptly behind her.

“Then show me.”

Maggie was taken aback about how confident the girl across from her came to be. Her upper lip went into a scowl as the hand was brought closer to her face. She took a bit to look around her, seeing the crowd from side to side and then pushes the hand away as she slowly got up from her seat.

“Fine. But I don’t want to be in this stupid place anymore. If you have a better place where I can show off than fine by me.” 

Taking a slow walk towards the door she heard the noises of the party fade behind her as she whipped her head backwards towards her new partner for the night.
