I drew this back in 1995 just because I thought erythropoietin was an interesting word. It is related etymologically to Eritrea and to onomatopoiea.

It’s National Cat Day. Happy National Cat Day. Here’s a cat drawing I did long ago. #tbt ! I have a colored version of this on some business cards, and I gave one to my grandpa, and he looked totally confused and maybe concerned that I was some sorta invalid. I’m allergic to cats, so I don’t get as much joy from them as you might. I was gonna tag this #inktober but I thought that might be cheating, seeing that this drawing is like nine years old. Whoops, I cheated. Cats.
