It's time for a new shoujo quiz this week, and was so excited to see The Too-Perfect Saint have some time to shine because this is such a lovely story and was so happy to revisit it! 🥹

I'm always on the search for more, and NEED to read these five series that have either been on my TBR for a hot minute or were recently added!

I am still SO over the moon of seeing the key/teaser visuals for the Glasses with a Chance of Delinquent anime! 🤩🥳

This is my favorite shoujo manga ever, and to see it look so lovely from the visuals we've received so far makes me all the more hopeful the anime will be absolutely wonderful! 🥰

VADTD will have an anime adaptation!

On X (formerly Twitter), several Piccoma users shared posts announcing that VADTD will be getting an anime adaptation.

Apparently, when Piccoma uploaded episode 214 of the webtoon, this news was announced at the end of the episode.

Unfortunately, the Piccoma platform can only be accessed via VPN, as the site is only accessible if you live in Japan.

Fortunately, user @/violetheart08 shared the official illustration along with messages from Gwon Gyeoeul-nim and SUOL-nim.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

After sharing in my recent Top 5 video of my most anticipated August manga releases, I thought it would be fun to feature a few more that aren't ALL debuts! 🤭

Let's dive into why I'm stoked for these shoujo & josei releases and why they should be on your radar! 😍

Maybe it's odd to feature a FINAL volume of a series, but it's why I wanted to include Pet Shop of Horrors: Collector's Edition because that means it's time for a binge read! 🤩

I haven't been collecting the series, but I have wanted to try it and think my library has it!

I have DEEPLY enjoyed reading Love, That's an Understatement digitally! So much so that I've been double-dipping and buying the volumes physically too!

Seeing volume six release this month has me downright giddy because I'm READY to be back with these characters! 🤩

While I'm behind on the physical releases, seeing a new volume of My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 had me cheering!! 🥳

I really really love this cover of Yamada, and I'm so excited for us fans to hold a new volume soon! 🥰

One of the new debuts that I wanted to make sure was featured was Half is More!

This sounds like it will be very thought-provoking and probably angering too because of how the heroine is treated! 😤 I'm bracing myself for a "deeper" read than what I usually dive into!

And last but not least, another manga debut called Hand in Hand with Mu-chan: Lessons from My Autistic Daughter!

This sounds like it will be an emotional read, but also a happy one too I think? Definitely another series that's outside my usual reads, but I'm eager to try! 🤩

When I was working on my video earlier this week of series I would love to reread if I had more time, I realized I had a lot more titles I wanted to come back to than the five series I featured! 😆

Beauty Pop was one of the first shoujo manga series I ever read, and absolutely adored it!

I'm thankful my library has it (or at least they still should!) because it really is time to revisit this older series! 🥹

I was SO late to the Alice in the Country of Hearts hype, but once I read it, I never stopped loving the series! (Honestly, this manga is a large reason why I got into Twisted Wonderland 🤭)

I didn't have enough room for it on my graphic, but TokyoPop also released singles!

Oh my goodness, I NEED to reread Yona of the Dawn, especially with the series ending soon (in English)!

It has been years since I've read it and would love to read it on my own and not through spoilers I've seen online (unfortunately)!

With the anime reboot coming soon, I felt a deep need to come back to Magic Knight Rayearth!

This was my first magical girl series as an adult and has such a special place in my heart because of it! 🥰

Plus, it's just REALLY good and love all the girls! 😍

Lastly, The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom isn't an "older" series, but it's one I can't get enough of!

I told myself that before the year ends, I NEED to reread it! It's not like I WON'T like it! 😆

Truly a fun and engaging series!
