Finished MK11 chapters 4-7 (Sub-Zero& Scorpion -

Kitana) today. Impressions so far:

Overall I enjoy the game a lot. Some character designs are really good, some really mid and overdesigned, but none are outright bad imho. Cassie and Jacqui look a lot younger than in X though, confusingly.

Combat is fun, and feels easier than 9 and X which I played in east and had a lot harder time with than 11 on medium.

The kustomization is fun in theory but overwhelming in practice 🫠 So many pretty outfits!

I don’t understand Kronika’s motivation yet. So Raiden is messing with timelines, but why is that a problem for her?

I did not expect the Jade/Kotal pairing, but I really dig them together 🙈

The Sub-Zero&Scorpion chapter was way too short. I hope they show up again at least as speaking roles in later cutscenes. 🥺

Who the heck is the character we play as in the Krypt?! (I stupidly skipped the intro cutscene for that lol….)

Kenshi and Smoke are being missed :’( I don’t care for the pop-culture characters in any of the games. Would rather have more canon characters in their places.
