BITE ME.

   “i was told there’d be a party here! could you invite me in?”

  “are you THIRSTY?”

     you know, i’ve adopted this persona that i cannot shake loose anymore! the constant urge to party is filling me up & it’s unavoidable! do you know anything fun we could do?

He blinked a little disoriented a little by the other. ‘I guess so,’ He said eyeing the other’s sunglasses it was kind of late for those wasn’t it? Almost involuntarily he flinched at that joke about biting. Given all Edythe had told him and which he was admittedly still processing, it was enough to make him skitish. 

‘Cameras … ? I um, can I help you with something? Or what is it you want exactly?’ Mild anxiety making his tone colder than he likely intended. 

  “what i want,” a dramatic pause sprinkles in as if he were on stage, giving it his all as the lead role. there may as well be a spotlight shining down on him as he lifts his head amid the pause before his head moves upright, a happy, yet almost sinister, smile on his face, “would be dangerous to you.”

  he stares at him, smile sucked away.

  “i hope you realize you’re being, erm--” he takes a moment to fish out for the proper word-- “RECORDED, yeah?” 

  “HELLO! hello & good evening. bit late to be meandering about, wouldn’t you agree? isn’t there such a thing as curfew?” 

    “ Is it poisoned?” Zoe asked,      looking at the held out cup     with a curious skepticism.      Since what kind of not shady     person just offers a stranger     a cup of something? Maybe     just a nice person, but you can’t     be too careful. “And what is it,      even?”

   “calm down, red. the cameras are off,” albeit the cameramen are on their little day-break while sel is confined in his home, “you just need to be cool.”

  “hello! may i take a few seconds of your time to ask where the nearest club is?” in the dead of night, it’s fortunate humans became less strict on curfew. it made night dwellers have reason to go out.

  “MY LITTLE.... SMELLY WEREWOLF BOY,” he may as well say it loud enough for the neighborhood to hear, “if you need a place to stay, my home is not far away!”
