Look at yourself. Look at your talents. Observe what you’re most passionate about. Whether it’s drawing, singing, creating, economics, gardening, etc
Make a plan. Solve a problem. Put your all into what you’re selling and what you’re servicing.
Write down your ideas. Pick the one that’s going to attract more people and that you’re most passionate about and great at. Out of 3 great ideas: choose the top 1!
If you don’t have all the resources, search..search...search. Whether it’s buying what you need at stores, collaborating with people, finding specific ingredients or places you need as your setting, etc.
Give yourself one day to do a “practice run”. Mimic what you’ll be providing or servicing with a model or a friend. Pretend it’s the day of your service. Once you have it perfected, write down all the do’s and don’t’s. Ask for feedback. You can also record yourself and watch back at what you can change or improve.
Write down a specific date and plan on servicing on that day. Gather all your information and get organized. Plan a day that will accomadate your target market. Create advertising- social media, flyers, your materials, business cards, texts and phone calls, etc. You can download Canva on your phone or computer for a great marketing tool.
Start advertising primarily 2 weeks before you plan or launching or servicing. Ask family or friends to help you promote. Most importantly: promote yourself! Record a short video explaining what you’ll be servicing. Share all of your ads and marketing. Do this at least 3x a day until the date of your service.
When the day comes, stay focused, organized and remember why you started. Be yourself. Be authentic. Serve every person as you would the roads or a celebrity. Be kind, honest and consistent. Stick to your word. Share knowledge and provide excellent customer service.
After your grand day, send thank you notes, special offers and the next date of your service to all of your customers. Send a sample or ask them to promote your service for a percentage off. Keep them coming back and be consistent!
Do all of this and watch what you had in your head come to life! It’s 2021. Time to chase the bag. Time to level up. Time to invest in yourself and to give the world what God instilled in you!
