Anyway, I’ve been sort of scribbling down ideas for the AU, so here, have some more of the pretty snake-birb!

I haven’t nailed down all the important info yet, like you know, plot besides “Eclipse invades personal space, Y/N gets flustered” lol. This is probably gonna be in development for a LONG time, especially since I have a bunch of other ideas I might get distracted by. But I've nailed down a few ideas! 

For one, I made Eclipse a god of wind (and maybe also of knowledge but jury’s still out on that one.) It suits him. Wind is chaotic.  It can be a calm, cool breeze one minute, and then become a cyclone and bulldoze through towns the next.  And you can’t really stand against it.  You might be able to predict which way it will blow, after a time, and even take advantage of it, but you can’t control it or block it.  Eclipse isn't really something Y/N can fight, or even predict at first, so they have to learn to go with the flow.  

It’s also gonna be important for some backstory elements I’m working on, mainly Eclipse’s sealing - why it happened, how his imprisonment affected him, etc.  Oh, and shenanigan potential.  And maybe some warlocky badassery for Y/N depending on how the plot goes, who knows?

Also, thank you to the one commenter who suggested Y/N looking into Eclipse's legends for their motivation for being on the expedition that ends up finding him in the first place! I'm still figuring out details (just like with everything else) but I'll definitely be using that!

Not sure if I'll actually end up developing a full-on AU with the guy or not, BUT i CAN share what I've actually come up with so far, which boils down to:

Y/N = archeologist equivalent in a fantasy world, and Eclipse is a god who was sealed away in some temple that their team accidentally stumbles across.

Y/N accidentally UNSEALS Eclipse somehow, which results in basically their entire team dying and Y/N, not wanting to die too, starts sucking up to the (probably unstable) god in a desperate attempt to not get their heart torn out or something.

This somehow results in Eclipse latching onto them as HIS mortal. No, they don't get a choice in the matter. They're his now, that's just how it works. And since they're his, that means that they WILL help him return to full strength, right?

So now Y/N has been claimed by a possessive, clingy god (REALLY possessive and REALLY clingy) that they have to help rebuild a following in this new day and age or get smote or something.

Also said god takes a liiiiiiitle too much pleasure in manhandling them. Can gods get touch-starved? They're pretty sure this one is because he just can't keep his hands off them.

Which is a problem for both the obvious reasons and because Y/N categorically hates that they get flustered every time he manhandles them. (Look, he's very pretty, and they're only human, okay? It's totally reasonable!)

If I do end up developing more of this idea I'll tag the posts as "Sealed God AU" or something, idk

Since you loved the first Ceres doodles I did so much @r0tting-rat, here, have some more! This time with added Doe! Not sure if I got all the details right but as long as he's recognizable it's probably fine, right?

Not sure how tall Doe is actually supposed to be (I think he's somewhere in the 7 footer range but I honestly can't remember if that's right so I'm probably wrong) so I just settled on making Ceres about chest-height for him. Perfect height for hugging and burying her face in his chest lmao. If she ends up taller than most people because of it then so be it.

@r0tting-rat Behold, a Bunny! Was inspired by all the posts about Doe and supernatural critters, except instead of Bunny being the critter, the critters are Bunny's adopted kids!

Anyway, meet Ceres (anemic single mom and reluctant murder hobo) and her saplings, Carmilla and Contessa (her little vampire tree babies.) The saplings are jubokko, yōkai that typically grow on ancient battlefields and feed on the blood of unwary travelers. Ceres found them as tiny sprouts in a garage sale somewhere, and only realized they weren't normal plants after bleeding on them by accident. She's been "raising" them ever since.

She tries to keep them fed with her own blood as much as possible, but they got too big to subsist entirely on that a while ago, so now she's murdering people to keep them fed. She'd love nothing more than to be able to stop killing (her sleep is haunted by guilty nightmares, and she's been on the run without a roof over her head for months) but if she stops then her babies will starve. If only she had another option... ;)
