Representatives of Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Juniper Networks met with regulators at the US Department of Justice (DOJ) last week to try to fend off an antitrust challenge to HPE's proposed $14 billion acquisition of Juniper, according to a Bloomberg report. .

DOJ officials, Bloomberg reported, are prepared to "challenge the agreement if necessary and express concerns" to HPE and Juniper, but no final decision has been made on whether they will pursue legal action. "Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Juniper Networks are working with regulators to obtain the necessary approvals for the agreement we anticipate and expect the agreement to close in late 2024 or early 2025," said HPE in a statement responding to the Bloomberg report. "We believe that the transaction will create great value for customers and change the evolution of the network industry for the better by promoting competition and innovation. »

Bloomberg reported that a decision on challenging the deal could be made as early as this week. The outlet also said that HPE and Juniper "may choose to delay the deal until the administration of President Donald Trump takes office in January in hopes of improving" the deal.

• HEC has officially designated TCS Courier Company to facilitate domestic certificate seekers in obtaining Education Document Certificates from all over Pakistan. In this regard, applicants are required to submit the application form, relevant educational and other documents, certification fee and courier service fees to the respective TCS centers.

• The courier company would be responsible for obtaining certification of documents from HEC and sending them back to applicants.

• If documents are returned without certification for any reason, the applicant may receive a refund from TCS of the certification fee paid.

Applicants who wish to apply for a certificate of courier service MUST deposit the certificate fee at the relevant center of the courier company. A fee deposited by bank or online deposit will not be accepted.

For international applicants

• HEC has officially appointed Gerry's FedEx International, Islamabad, Pakistan to facilitate certification of educational documents for expatriate certification seekers. In this regard, the applicant sends the application form, relevant educational and other documents, and a bank draft to the designated office of the courier company.
