LASTRESNEGRAS is an independent microspace for contemporary photography based in Valencia, Spain. is an artist run space specialized in showing art related to the medium of photography. We are intrigued by the importance of image making in a contemporary art context. Nowadays photography is omnipresent in a lot of artists their practice. This ranging from the idea of the photograph as a sketch as well as classic photograph as a final work. By exploring various constellations within the use of photography as a medium, we strongly believe in the impact an image can have on the spectator. LTN will function as a platform-cube with three black walls, within which artists will be able to present their works. We work together in a close collaboration with the artists we show within the co-working atmosphere of the gallery.
