when jyn had first woken up in the medbay a few days ago, sheâd been disorientated, confused. her skin was burning, still itching from the flames of the blast, and she hadnât recognized her surroundings ; sheâd ripped out her iv and staggered out of bed, grabbing an empty tray as a weapon in preparation to escape. over the course of the next few minutes, she knocked out one nurse and injured another before a droid could inject her with a sedative. since then, sheâd been well-guarded by various armed rebel personnel to stop any further attempts. after all, she hasnât officially joined up ââ despite her actions on scarif, sheâs still a â highly dangerous â criminal whoâd only been freed from wobani a week ago. â itâs jyn, â she mutters when addressed as miss, lips curling in distaste at the title. â ââ and itâs still a zero. â an obvious lie, one that is painstakingly clear, but she doesnât plan on backing down. while she can barely move without pain, the fresh burns on most of her body tugging and pulling every time she shifts, she would rather be anywhere than in bed. the death star is still out there. â you going to let me out of here yet or will i have to do it myself ? âÂ
KAEDEN WAS HARD TO FRIGHTEN.that was probably thanks to her experience on raada at such a young age. while jyn was dangerous and could do some real damage. they were all on the same side. or at least thatâs what kaeden had herself believe even if jyn wasnât officially on their side just yet. sheâd be hard pressed to believe a person would go on a suicide mission for the rebellion and then simply turn her back on them. but then again the galaxy was full of surprises. and over the years kaeden has met many different types of rebels. some who truly believe in what they fought for and other who just saw it as bed. kaeden raises her hands in surrender. â sorry, jyn, Iâll make sure to keep that in the records so I, nor anyone else, makes that mistake again. â a frown settles on her face as jyn stubbornly reflects that her pain is at a zero. impossible. but kaeden didnât want to rank the otherâs pain too high in fear of someone overdosing her. so she simply puts a two and then a question mark next to the number with the comment that patient seemed reluctant to give accurate pain scale. kaeden lets out a sigh and then raises her eyebrow at the other. â I donât have authority to let you out of the bed, jyn. they donât trust us with the keys. something about being too soft hearted. I suggest you take the time to recover. that way youâre in peak shape before going about your way â
