🏠Historic Henford House [🆔: LarsLabyrinth] I decided to create an English country manor fit for Henford-On-Bagley. The exterior is English gothic-revival while the interior is much like you'd expect from well maintained ancestral manors today; a collection of antiques from multiple eras/generations. I was inspired by the many manors, estates & palaces built after the 1500's that are on the foundations of the much older crumbling/outdated family castle/fortress/manor. Many even reusing the original stones. On these estates you only have to go below the surface to see an even more ancient family past. So I created underground castle ruins that act as a swimming spot for sims to explore their ancient past.
