an ongoing installation of cardboard, created things from foliage, many braids and twists, paper, and some fragrant herbs, chocolate mint.

potentially one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen today is a tiny little vine climbing a thorn bush trunk braided to the fence and wrapped in lightly soaked U-Haul wrapping paper. In the last photo it looked like a terrestrial being eating a soft sun.

el roi inspired this framed artwork. el roi is a Hebrew understanding of godself. el/god/power and roi/see. the god who sees.

I see layers of fine wrinkles in finer paper with thick and heavy colored markings. I know god sees every motion toward preserving the beauty of deterioration I recently tried to understand through the lense of wabi-sabi.
