Now celebrating nearly 25 years of can't be bothered to learn Vim or emacs. Quarter century* of just using nano and graphical text editors like featherpad or kate. Remote system? (a) hahahaha it's been over a decade since i had to ssh out of my own LAN (b) on the rare occasions I need to do extensive config file edits or whatever on a headless system I WILL make a local copy and just keep scping the updated file back to the headless system. I'm not some casual casual user, i am a devoted, long term casual user. I can't learn Vim now. Not after i've made it this far.
*I looked this up just now and apparently nano was incorporated into the gnu project just in time for it to be in my first linux install. probably. maybe I was using pico back then? idk. whatever. it sure wasn't Vim tho
