🚨MALLIE UPDATE🚨😁 Hey Fam! So Mallie had a check up today and doc is very pleased with her progress! Yay🥳🥳🥳 When I got injured my finger was bent 50degrees. Now after 4 weeks, she’s down to 4degrees and continuing to heal and straighten. Here you’ll see Doc using a little machine that “mobilizes scar tissue” under the skin and also massaging and bending the other 2 joints to help prevent stiffness. She’s awesome! *Progress Update* So today marks 3 weeks having the brace on my little finger. Thanks to everyone who has inquired about her. Oh! Her name is officially Mallie by the way! (Short for Mallet Finger... my injury🙃) But yep.. It’s been 3 of the initial 6-8 week timeframe and I gotta say. I’m ready for it to be off. Lol. But I’ve been disciplined and it’s definitely a walk of faith having an “invisible” injury. Can’t see the tendon and it gives no pain, thankful for this... so pretty much have to do what I’m told and leave the rest to God. So thanks for your prayers and thoughts and I’ll keep you guys posted on her further progress. So first thing first! YOUR GIRL DOESN’T NEED SURGERY! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 Thankful for this for sure!!! I have a 12 week or so healing journey ahead but God is good and now I know that my “Mallet Finger” injury is pretty common and really does happen in some simple ways.
