Happy one year since ME! Behind the diverting beat and dance worthy lyrics once you pay close attention to the lyrics it has a whole other meaning. Since this song is about embracing your individuality and owning it almost anyone can relate to it. At some point in life your insecurities take over and you feel like your not good enough or don’t fit in. You will stare at yourself in the mirror and see each crack or blemish that you try to hide with a smile. But it’s ok and healthy to feel like that once or twice but it’s better to instead be able to look at yourself and feel irreplaceable. It’s good to have self-confidence and be able to look at yourself and see those same cracks and blemishes, but instead of letting that take you down it instead makes you stronger. You should be able to make yourself feel good without bringing people down at the same time.
