hey there! I’ve spent literal *years* being so inspired by so many amazing studyblrs and I’m taking the leap and finally making my own!

about me:

I’m K, and I’m 19, a pisces, and use she/her pronouns

I live in Australia but originally from the Philippines

I’m currently on summer break and about to start first year of med school next year (I am both super excited and super nervous at the same time)

I also love reading, music, writing, learning languages and I’ve just started getting into baking

my goals:

journal series: it’s safe to say that journaling and art-making have kind of saved my life over the past year. I mean, any year… but this past year more than ever. at times when the fear of the future is at its peak, sitting down to write something or cut something up or glue something together allows me a moment of normality. grounding. intention. So I mentioned this in my re-introduction post and got a few (okay, three) replies from people who were interested. @jjastudies even offered to help so I went ahead and set up Academia! 

It’s an 18+ studyblr community discord server for everyone who wants to be a little more social during these times.  You do not need to have an active studyblr to be able to join. It’s for everything study related and non-study related, hobbies, books, writing… It’s whatever we want it to be! 

It’s a work in progress! It’s in its beginning stages, so we hope everyone who joins now will be able to brainstorm with us and make this small server supportive & fun. Also, we’re aiming for a good balance of timezones! So please join.

I’m in Grade 11 and aspiring for med school/PhD in biochem. Younger than most in this community but don’t let it fool you... I am pretentious.

I’m a little bit insane so I’m taking some university courses at the same time as my normal highschool ones— currently doing musculoskeletal anatomy and medical terminology through Harvard and Doane respectively
