Daily Duas:
Ramadan is a month to train yourself to become a better Muslim all year long. This is the month to recite, to memorize, and to practice. The rewards for your efforts in getting close to Allah (swt) during this month, are better than any other month of the entire year.
Allah (swt) says “Glorify the name of your Lord, morning and evening” [16:025]. This is the beginning of our daily dua memorization series, and the goal is to help you do exactly that- begin and end your day with the remembrance of your Rabb.
Morning dua: Split it into 3 parts
Alhamdullilahi lathi ahyaanaa–say it 10 times looking. Then say it 10 times to yourself without looking.
Ba'da maa amaatana–say it 10 times looking. Then time times without looking.
– (Now say the above two lines together. 20 times looking and 20 times without looking)
Wa ilayhin nushoor–Say it 10 times looking, and 10 times not looking.
– (Now say that above 3 lines 20 times looking, and 20 times without looking)
Congrats! By this point you have successfully memorized the morning dua. Feel free to save the above images for reference.
Night dua: 4 words, so we will be memorizing these a little differently than the morning dua.
Bismika Allahuma (In Your name Oh Allah)–Say it 20 times looking, and 20 times without looking.
Amootu wa ahya (I live and die)–Say it 20 times looking, and 20 times without looking.
–Now say the above 4 words together 20 times without looking. Practice every night!
Feel free to save the above images to your phone, that way when you are on your phone before bed or in the morning you have them for reference. Start your day and end your night in His remembrance- and watch how much more barakah there is in both your days and your sleep!
“And remember your Lord by your tongue and within yourself, humbly and in awe, without loudness, by words in the morning and in the afternoon, and be not among those who are neglectful.” - Al-Araf 7:205
