this is a really interesting question! ive never given it that much thought, to be honest! i mean, i dont think im not human, but sometimes i dont feel fully human, i suppose. i identity as catgender, however i dont really identify with cats on an alterhuman level. i tried out terms like fictionkin but it didnt feel quite right, ive identified with otherhearted labels, ive also "kinned" or felt gender envy from images or objects or characters. but, do i think im nonhuman? no, not really. im comfortable being human. i dont feel species dysphoria or anything of that nature. sometimes i feel a little bit more like a "thing" than a person though, i will admit. it doesnt go much deeper than that though

nnottt really. i dont perceive my object partners as actually being sentient or having a soul/spirit or anything like that. though, i dont have anything against those who do! for me, my objects being inanimate is part of what makes them attractive to me, so imagining them secretly being sentient kinda kills the vibe for me, for a few reasons. though, if specifically my plush partners were to hypothetically spring to life someday toy story style, i dont think id really be particularly opposed to that. ive definitely had plenty of one sided conversations with my object partners and i often regard them in personlike ways when we interact. for example, verbally saying "sorry" everytime i accidentally drop one of my plush partners on the floor. also, i tend to assign my object partners personality traits and other associations in my head. like, asher, for example, my bab frog bf, is transmasc and enjoys flowers and gardening. zleeble, my ikea alien partner, uses xenogenders and neopronouns and likes going to raves. pretty much all of my object partners and friends have pronouns and/or genders in my head, even despite me not perceiving any of them with sentience. i still refer to them exclusively with the pronouns ive assigned them, and i associate them with the traits ive given them. so no, i dont consider myself posic, but i do personify my object partners quite often!

this question is so broad! theres sensory things i like about most objects im attracted to. since im autistic, objects that please my senses are what most appeal to me. this question even proposes a good example that i can reuse, car engine sounds! i looove the sounds that cars make, especially sports cars with souped up engines that sound so fucking awesome when they rev up then speed off. ive been to a lot of car shows, and i always love staying until the end to watch them all pull off and listen to the sexy engine noises. that stupid classic saying "hate to see em go, love to watch em leave" definitely applies here. another example is the smell of gasoline. yeah, im one of those weirdos who thinks that gasoline smells amazing, and no im not going out huffing gas or anything, but a whiff of fresh gasoline can sometimes be quite erotic to me. ill name one more big example. plush fur, specifically my plush partners fur. like asher, his fur is super soft.... i love build a bears so much, theyre so perfectly built to cuddle and hug. asher is so comfortable and i pretty much always cuddle or hold on to him while i do literally anything in my room. im holding him under the crook of my arm as i type his post, lmao. hes very comforting to me and having him in my arms calms me down. knowing i can just hug him whenever at a moments notice. its nice :)
