For two years, nightmares have plagued you, stealing away the solace of sleep. Images of the raging sea, a small, strange, town, the forest. You recognize these as omens, foreboding and demanding your attention. You pack up and leave, desperate for some peace and clarity.

Hazelbrooke now stands before you, shrouded in fog and beckoning to lose yourself to its secrets like a siren's call.

What will you find? Who will you trust? Will the nightmares end now that you stand in the maw of your torment? Or will you succumb to the crushing weight of sleep, lulling you into its embrace and closing your eyes for good?

Zell Sonnet (He/Him)

Zell is the recluse in the woods that comes off as shy and quiet. He claims to be quite knowledgeable surviving off the land, aided by the fact he actually does. He likes lending a hand and would protect the ones he loves most at all costs.

Yuqo Evatt (Any pronouns)

Yuqo is the sly and flirty individual that often gets in a bit of trouble. They like stirring up a bit of chaos to make the seemingly boring small town a bit more lively. They are extremely loyal and would follow the ones they love to the ends of the earth.

Uri Blythe (She/Her)

you did not hear this from me

so , i recently got a job. first one in a long time , so i am trying to get used to not having much free time. and because i have been dealing with hypersomnia all year , i spend a lot of time asleep. trying to find a way to combat this.

i loathe to admit this , but not much has been done. i am still nearly completed with the prologue , but trying to get back into coding is an uphill battle.

though , i come back with an update because i have also recently started working on it again. if all goes well , then hopefully i can push it out in the next month or two. nothing concrete yet.

i made the mistake of high ambitions and letting the hype die </3 but once i get into a groove perhaps i can release Lament in full by the end of 2026.
