Today is my sister Lamaās birthday.
I dreamed of seeing her smile in front of a birthday cake, blowing out candles like every other child. Instead, I stand outside an ICU room, watching fear grow with every passing minute.
I am terrified that the day she was born could become the day I lose her forever.
I want nothing for myself. The only thing I ask from this world is for Lama to live, recover, and have the chance to grow up.
Are there still people whose hearts can be moved by the suffering of a little girl spending her birthday surrounded by machines instead of laughter and gifts?
Please keep my sister Lama in your prayers, and if you can, share her story with others. Maybe a prayer, a kind word, or a share can bring her the hope she desperately needs.
DONATE HERE IF YOU CAN
