This is NOT L'Afrique Brothers, but it is a song that we play. I wrote this song over the span of a year in 2005 with Reggie Drew on bass , Paul Verke on Guitar, Paul Maas on drums and me ( Kendon ) on guitar. This was a song that was not usual for The Dulangs, as we were more of an alt rock group. Toward the end I was taking a lot of influence from Chitlin Circuit era R&B proto funk and soul. James Brown, Isley Brothers, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett. Motown/Stax. Over the years I would develop brass parts for it for The Slippery Slope. Now L'Afrique Bros are playing it.
