We all know the dates are screwed up in DA and JFelz isn't the best friend of continuity.

BUT remember the discussion about when Cobert got married? Whether it was 1889 or 1890? (I think it was those dates?)

But, hear me out, what if it isn't a mistake? What if Cora and Robert count the time since they had a loving marriage? What if they decided the first year doesn't count, so they don't celebrate it?

It started as a silly joke between them, but then it just stuck with it and the girls never really questioned it and others don't know the year. Nobody really cares at that point anymore. While Cora cares about the fact that it is the day of their anniversary, Robert cares that she knows he loves her. And since she always insists it's taken him a year, he makes a point of it.

[It won't be particularly enjoyable, but you will get better and you won't die.]
