"I'm leaving tomorrow.Â
      At the crack of dawn.
I'll be gone for a week or so.
      Do not worry.Â
For I shall be back soon enough."
sem has a bucket list, she made one when she first got to midgard
"—Yes, this is true.""Though I must ask, how did you find out about that, gray one?"

Always there || Gersemi & Sigyn
“One day that sweet, beautiful face of yours will not be able to get you out of trouble,” Sigyn replied with a meek chuckle. In her youth, Sigyn had also had a soft face and many had often found it hard to scold her because of her wide, blue eyes looking up at them filled with innocence. Things changed and now, people were more than happy to put her down.
Gersemi’s voice was sweet and silvery as she sung and it was soothing to Sigyn’s nerves. Though as she took the goblet, her hands were still shaking. She lifted it to her lips, taking a small sip before lowering it and balancing it on her knee; slender fingers still curled around it as if holding it tightly would bring her some form of solace.
“What if Odin decides to execute him?” She asked quietly, looking up at her sister with sad eyes.
"But today is not that day. And I am quite sure that day will not arrive for a long time, sister mine. You need not worry," Gersemi spoke. "It'll be all right, you'll see."
Gersemi sat down next to Sigyn. "I think not. Odin does not have a blackened heart. Sure, what Loki did was not the best course of action, but Loki--he is still Odin's son and his heart has cared for Loki as he has done for Thor.
I do not think that the AllFather would have him murdered on the spot, excecuted, you name it; I believe that he will not die. Not today, at least. Have a bit of faith, sweet songstress--he would never do anything without the AllMother's consent." Even if the woman was not with them anymore...
Pause.
"And Loki is, despite everything he's done, still her child."
Always there || Gersemi & Sigyn
Strangely, Gersemi’s singing was calming. Sigyn had always enjoyed the sound of her sister’s voice. It was soft and warm as if she were always singing a lullaby and as Sigyn followed her to the living room, she had a chance to calm down her erratic breathing.
When asked if she wanted a drink, Sigyn requested a goblet of water as running so far and so fast had made her throat painfully dry. She was surprised she had even been able to speak when she had arrived at her sister’s door but she supposed she had the adrenaline rush to thank for that.
Sigyn appreciated the way Gersemi swore that she would help her find a way in to the cells to visit Loki but the elder did not wish the younger to get herself in trouble or hurt for her sake. “Do not do anything drastic, my kin and do not get yourself in trouble for me,” Sigyn murmured.
Truth be told, she was content with just having her sister nearby; knowing she had someone to hold her hand when she found herself crumbling. Her sister was her rock. Many people referred to Sigyn as the constant star but for Sigyn, that star was Gersemi.
"Och, you know I won't get myself in trouble, sister mine. This face? They won't suspect me. They do not think me capable of thinking up plots like this."
Water it was. The request had been heard.
Gersemi nodded, told her sister to sit down and walked towards the kitchen, falling back into the song, singing it loud enough (but not too loud mind you) for Sigyn to be able to hear it, because it seemed to calm her down. Thank the Norns it was helping...Â
"A pretty picture but the scenery is so loud, A face like heaven catching lighting in your nightgown."
Once she came back, Gersemi offered Sigyn the goblet. "--Enjoy, my kin."

Where will you be waking up tomorrow morning? Out the back door--

Always there || Gersemi & Sigyn
Sigyn moved further into the house, following her sister into the hallway and she did as she was told. She focused on her breathing, taking deep, slow breaths in order to try calm herself and her tears. It did some good but very little as they were only visual manifestations of her distress and the feeling ran far deeper than her physical reactions.
“No-one is allowed to see him, sister. Not even the Great Mother is allowed down to the cells in order to see him,” Sigyn mumbled, still unable to cope with the fact her husband was so near but she was never allowed to see him again. Especially since his sentence in the cells was indefinite.
She would have to resort to magic if she ever wished to see Loki and stay in contact with him. She had not even been allowed to greet him upon his return and instead had been dragged off by the guards to stop her from being able to run to him and try and speak to him. He wouldn’t have been able to answer her anyway, even if she had, due to being muzzled.
It had gotten to the point where Sigyn wished to fall to her knees and admit defeat to the Aesir. To admit they were breaking her when she was usually so strong and unwavering. After all, she was associated with constancy but even the strongest people broke eventually.
"Climbing out the backdoor, didn't leave a mark, no one knows it's you, miss Sigyn," She sang softly. To herself or to her sister, Gersemi did not know.Â
The woman had to calm her sister down somehow. She made a noise of dissapointment as she lead her sister to the living room. Gersemi stopped singing for a moment or two, if only to ask Sigyn if she desired some beverage.
Why did Sigyn not resort to magic? Out of them, she'd always been the very best when it came to magic. Gersemi wasn't like Hnoss, she couldn't run into battle, brandishing a spear, yelling threats and acting them out.
Gersemi wasn't like Sigyn either. Her magic was weak. Weaker than most.
It pained her, to see her strong and unwavering sister like that. It really did.
"--I shall find you a way in, sister mine," Semi promised. "Even if it is the last thing I shall ever do."Â
