one time kenny throws up on the floor and dies while the boys are hanging out in cartman’s basement and they’re all like “dude sick i’m not cleaning that up! kenny should do it but he’s DEAD!” so they just leave it there. then kenny comes back from the dead and now no one remembers whose it was because of kenny’s curse logic but the vomit is still there. they spend so much time arguing over who did it and, therefore, who will clean it up that it just stays and becomes a fixture of the basement. kyle of course absolutely hates it but refuses to clean it up out of principle so he just compartmentalizes and gets used to it. eventually it’s such a permanent part of their lives (read: like a week or two) that they decide it’s basically a new member of their friend group. they also decide that it’s way quieter and less annoying than butters so they name it Cooler Butters and go to school after a week and a half to inform him that he has, once again, been replaced and no they will not change their minds. one day they go back to cartman’s place to find that cartman’s mom has cleaned it up and they all cry like their friend died, which pisses kenny off because they’re crying SIGNIFICANTLY more than any of the times HE died.

stan turns from a baseball hating child into a baseball neutral adult and because of this he has no real loyalty to the rockies, so after a few years in LA he becomes a casual dodgers fan. and this makes randy feel real actual rage, like stan is committing the biggest betrayal ever. he may as well be stabbing him in the chest. mind you, randy is also just a casual baseball fan and only really cares during the world series, but it’s the PRINCIPLE of the thing!!! you can’t just ABANDON your HOME!!!!!! what next, no BRONCOS?????? and this final accusation makes stan cry a bit because he would never betray his beloved broncos like that. he has four lamps.
