I don’t sleep till sunrise but I am up before the sun I hide in my shadow so much that I have become a shadow but with light all around I can’t hide my shadow I need the darkness I’ve been trying to swim through this ocean but is it really swimming if my lungs are filled with salt water I am trying to learn to not need validation but this thing in my head does it seeks validation like the air I breathe and it’s choking me to feel is just a pain and the pain is the only feeling I feel but then again I go out at 2 am all alone just to not feel lonely because some nights the ceiling plays every mistake I ever made like my favourite movie it sings out every wrong word I ever said at the top of its voice like a linkin park concert one wrong word and I don’t stop thinking about it for a month I hold grudges like I hold my skin or does it hold me I can never tell people call me heartless because pieces of something can never count as whole and most times they laugh at what comes out of my mouth but isn’t that the point to make them laugh so that they can’t see you cry and it is easier to hide in plain sight keep up the walls even at home because home doesn’t understand why one day you talk about going to another country all alone and the other day you can’t seem to get out of bed when one day you are the happiest person in the world and the next you are fucking miserable @justscribbledwords
