So do you have a husband or fiancĂŠe or something?
Alethea had began to clear her desk, taking stacks of the papers and settling them into folder pockets accordingly, until she paused once again.
A..fiancĂŠ? She didnât even have any friends. âWhy would I..â Mund trails off as her mind dances with the endless possibilities.
It didnât take long for the young ladyâs face to colour correct to a similar shade of her hair, gulping as her eyes idly shifted.
â..I havenât a husband nor a fiancĂŠ, Iâve only had two relationships, and..those were a while back now.â

It didnât take long for the young ladyâs face to colour correct to a similar shade of her hair, gulping as her eyes idly shifted.
After a few moments she lowers her head and gets back to sorting, straight lipped although she began to sweat, pairing with the pink dusting her skin.
â..I havenât a husband nor a fiancĂŠ, Iâve only had two relationships, and..those were a while back now.â
So how'd your dad pass away? What was his cause of death? It was a few years ago right? Sorry I just ended reading your bio
Alethea was glancing over her desk, the little bottles of ink, calligraphy pens and papers set in a messy order with numerous petite files stacked atop a small pile of books.
Just as she reached her hand out to clear, she freezes.
Swallowing thickly, the psychologist spoke gravely yet swiftly, âWhy do you want to know?â
She wasâŚdefensive of him and his past. He was all she had, aside from their home of course, but even then, what with an ongoing drop of funding that may come to pass also.
âDonât ask again.â

Do people in your town steer clear of you?? Do you have any friends?
Alethea stared off into the distance. Both hands set on her book-holding lap as she quietly took a few moments.
â..People tend to not talk to me much, and if they do, it..isnât the friendliest of reasons that lead them.â The young woman explains, eyes closed as she takes in a batch of air through her nostrils.
âI donât have acquantances. Thereâs no need for that sort of commitment. It can beâŚâ Alethea takes a moment, pursing her lips as she searches for the correct words, â..Challenging for people to understand why I do what I do.âÂ
Although the psychologist is quite intelligent and has the know-how, she isnât the most social, and finds it a little off putting conversing with others. Some would mistake her as a shut in! It was depressing, yet, she held comfort of such a way she leads her life.
Quietly, the young woman laces a strand of hair back and gets back to reading.
So is your father part of the skies? What's your story?
âFatherâs definitely a part of the stars.â Alethea speaks fondly, pushing her book closed after settling her bookmark between the frail pages.Â
âHe studied them with such passion, with a love of them. Itâd be impossible for him not to.â Quietly, the red head drags her vision over to the dark skies outside of her window, humming lowly. After a few moments, she gestures to the Observatory entrance atop a small set of stairs,Â
âI like to see him quite often. The constellations he makes amaze me. Although, thatâs all Iâd like to talk about for now.â

It was quite a drafty day, tides of the airpolluting clouds swirling into an angry storm in the town Alethea resides. It had been forecast for ruthless amounts of whipping winds and swift rain to harmonize into such a destructive way. Some would call it the storm of the year. // Rise and Shine
Everything was just going so wrong today. It was a relitavely unfortunate series of events for the young woman with no end it seemed.Â
Patients of hers hadnât turned up for her appointmentâs set times, muddling up her paper work and notes in the process. To which assuming she had free time she whisked herself away to the nearest market to pick up groceries, to be mocked and shamed with silent glares, leaving her quite deeply sullen. She never let it obvious that something was awry, lest she bring up even more suspicion than she currently held. Mundâs favourite blouse (Theyâre all the same, yet, she hold a particular dear) Was stained from a little incident regarding an ink holder she use for note taking in sessions, resulting in booking another batch order of supplies in, with money she ran low on.
Everything was just going so wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. This wouldnât sit here, this wouldnât fit there, nothing was going her way. There had been times where she was willing to pack up and search for a land to settle down, but that would take energy, research, and effort. One of which she hadnât in her at this moment.
Taking a fistful of her hair and pushing her back against he door, she shut it quite forcefully, knocking her head back against with a low groan. God, this wasnât her day.Â

In this photo you can clearly see both of Kirbyâs hands!
In other wordsâŚ
There is NO WAY Kirby could have taken a selfie!!
Hold it!
Wikipedia and Urban Dictionary both define a âselfieâ as a photo of someone, taken by themselves. Usually from arm length, or through a mirror. So even if Kirby did ask someone else to take the picture for himâŚ
It still wouldnât count as a selfie!
You are ignoring the fact that most cameras have a fancy option to use a timer that takes the picture when the taker activates it.
Kirby couldâve perfectly used this option to take the picture, which even in your urban dictionary definition would still count as a selfie.
Since,
HE STILL MADE IT HIMSELF!!
why is it that whenever the phoenix wright fandom hijacks a post its always over something trivial and never anything serious like a murder case

Traveling through the seas was immensely costly on the mind, having to navigate through waves and surf, ward off predatory sea life and not to mention keeping oneself alive on what little the sea could offer.Â
It made it all the more awe inducing to see a giant isle, one that held resources and promise of possibly living comfortably despite circumstances.
H slowly started to make his way toward such an island, watching the tiny distant speck of land grow larger and larger as he drew closer. Numerous trees, palms, mangroves and jungle trees that reached up to the sky. He felt the boat jolt suddenly as it was soon run up onto shore.
The sun was high. A cloudless sky with sea birds calling in the distant expanse of sea. Wilson gathered up what he could from his boat before venturing out onto the massive piece of land. ââŚI suppose no time better than the present to start things.â He muttered to himself as he slowly started to walk in-land to find an adequae place to set up camp.
Coincidentally, Alethea was currently paddling away from a colossal wave in panic sheâll sink under the mass nearby. Weaving and swerving around the risen waters, the young lady began to find the sea to settle, even just briefly. Alethea had been out surviving for a couple months now, but ever since a Large Deer creature began to inhabit the borders of her camp come early spring, she knew it was time to flee. With a bundle and backpack in hand, she fled that land and tried her best to escape to somewhere better.
After a lengthy amount of time, Mund ripped her tired, dreary expression from the waters to see an upcoming plot of land. âHurrah!â Her aching arms rejoice as she paddles her way for the place ahead. The woman had been travelling for two days now, and all she could hope for was a place to eat and rest aside from the damned oceanic fighting ring. Running a hand through her messy, Marroon locks, she plots both hands to paddle and sets for a quick travel for the land before her. Balancing herself out as she came close to the edge of ground, she hopped onto the grassy texture, grabbing her raft and tugging it around to tie it hold to a branchâŚthing of sorts. If she was to stay the night, and found it to be unsuitable, at least she had the solutionâŚin a way.
Huffing out a sigh of lassitude, Alethea swivels onto her heels and rotates around to find some firewood and make a fire for tonight, as the dark times were leering closer, and she didnât want to be the feast of another.
The scientist wiped his brow as he progressed further into the dense jungles trying hard to be careful to not try bumping into vines and bushes. As much as it annoyed him, snakes seemed to enjoy nesting in the large leafy fronds and branches of the shrubs and the like. The humidity and moisture of the jungle was choking. Every breath he took seemed to invite water or teeny little insects.
While a much less experienced version of him would have tried to buck up and build camp where he was, he knew well of the dangers and annoyances that came with building in such a place. Namely Prime Apes, Frogs, Snakes and Mosquitoes. If anything there were safer alternatives than roughing it. It would take much more labor on his part to be able to prevent potential flooding, though it would pay out far greater if he could manage to work quickly through the end of summer before the arrival of spring.
The man progressed through the dense grasses and mulch of the jungles before eventually standing right at the edge of the territory only to grow just a tad bit intimidated. While he could not necessarily confirm it, it would have to wait as he now saw himself in the meadows, numerous wild growing sweet potatoes grew in the area. If anything this seemed far better though.. it would certainly be at greater risk of flooding.
Still. It was better than nothing.
Wilson sighed as he approached, looking through his various items to try to see what he could manage to build. While not exactly overflowing with supplies, he certainly had numerous essentials, gold, boards, wood, stone, stone blocks, electrical doodads, silk, twigs and the like. Yes. He would be able to get a very solid start here. Hopefully much quicker
âAlrightâŚFirst thingâs first, Wood.
For the fire, I mean.â Crumbling down to her knees, she swings her arm around swiftly to plant her backpack in front of her, flipping open the lip of it to search the contents of the bag. In need of an Axe, Alethea sweeps up a handful of sticks, plucking up a fairly sharp component of flint to duo it. Running a harsh hand through her messy red locks, she grunts in frustration, starting to combine the two to make the device needed, although her luck differs the situation, the flint flops and slants under the weight of it compared to the sticks. Mumbling to herself lowly,
âAlrightâŚnow stay in place.â âŚFlop. âNo, I said, stay in place, please.â ⌠âYes?â âŚFlop.
Alethea yells angrily, losing her temper quite easily as she flings her head back, cursing out, âGOD DAMN IT!â Mund whacks the wonky tool off of the dirt in indignation, âSTAY.â Whack. âIN.â Slam. âPLACE!â Crack!
Bringing up the device in shaky hand, the two entities seem to have melded into place in a sturdy fashion due to force. âFinally.â She groans, dragging her things up with her as she tromps over to the trees to get the articles needed. âAll I need is logsâŚjust those and Iâm set for the nightâŚâ The young woman mutters to herself in exhaustion as she approaches the trees nearby the edge of the isle. âShouldnât take too long.â
Oh, how she couldnât have been more wrong. After a couple swings, Deadly Serpents dropped from above! The horror! In a pure shot of panic she tried her best to dodge and weave, To such an extent, the woman would double around and kite the tree, puffing out her anger before swinging all her emotion into the wood until she snapped. Cracking her head low to the hissing creatures below, Axe in hand, she began Slicing and morbidly cutting deep into their flesh, their red liquid coating the woman shamelessly. A key feature about Alethea was on low energy, after a day of travel, her patience tends to thin rapidly, and this was such an example of that.
Eventually, the tree had become Groundborn, dropping like Mund hoped it would. Exhaling deeply, she took a moment to eye over the current situation at hand. It was dusk..around that time rather, from what her months of living by the sun taught her, sitting on a piece of land she had no bloody idea where she was. âCould be worse.â She spoke outloud to herself. With that, she bent down to collect up the carcasâ and wood, waddling over to a clear space nearby before drooping down to her knees in enervation. Swiftly, the girl plots her bag beside her and whips up the Campfire she tried all this damned time for.
With a small flame that began to rapidly spread, she throated a weary sigh of relief. Dropping her head down to close her eyes and run both hands into her locks, allowing her fingers to tangle before releasing. âNow, I just wait before reposingâŚcan never be too sure about this place.â She grumbles, linking back to the âDeath from aboveâ Incident. âAt least Iâll be able to see Father again tonight, right?â Mund chirps up, dragging her eyes to the lowly lit skies above, a strong sense of hope in her voice.
There was an immense efficiency to be appreciated with ârecyclingâ. Hammering down old crates to recover what was within. It saved in immense effort and more often than not guaranteed a complete increase in utilities⌠not to mention the occasional can of ballfin free tuna. Strolling around the grasses of the meadows was soothing to the mind to some degree. It was easing him even more to just break open boxes.
It was what kept him busy on the new island, just wandering about scanning for crates and the like before returning to the task of making shelter. With each crate he passed, he cracked them open with a resounding wooden snap with each clubbing from his hammer.Â
As the dark approached, the man could only look up in disapproval, it was disheartening to see rather than true night, darkness only came. Darkness with no stars of capability to see in the dark. It was horridly disheartening to be reminded of being in such a hopeless prison. Even so, he brought himself back to his camp. Bringing light to the dark, as he still had to continue and survey the land. He continued on, making several torches to keep his way visible. Jogging lightly as he tried to keep himself from treading on any vines or possibly slip on a root.Â
Alethea flinched. What was that noise?âŚ
âŚMoments later it happened again. Was that..wood snapping? What in theâŚ
Bringing knees to her chest, she ties her arms around them as she darts her head around with unease, her eyes scanning for the next instance, but nothing came. Shrugging a little to herself, her drowsiness persued and loomed over her like a frightful creature, weighing down her eyelids and swaying her body. This was it. 24 hours plus had the woman gone without sleep, and she was never one for staying up so easily, finding it odd and unearthly some were able to stay up for double what she had weighing on her at the moment.
This wasnât safe, nor responsible, but the debilitated Mund gave in and fell into the arms of her temptations, dropping her head down gradually as she began to drowse. What if the fire gave in? Or something tried to attack her? Suppose if something did she could only hold liability to oneself. With time, the Psychologist was curled up into a little ball by the roaring, crackling camp fire, deeply unconscious to such a state attack would be a walk in the park.
For someone so independant youâd expect them to atleast teach themselves a few tips and tricks to get by on minimal rest, but alas, no dice. As the smoke began to rise from fire, it lit a beacon for danger nonetheless, but whether it came was a different story entierly. Filling up the skies above as she light projects back the perimiter, warding off small creatures and the like from the young one soundly resting. Surprisingly for someone so robotic, she looked her most peaceful when in siesta. Time to time her stomach would cry out in need of some form of sustanance, only to have Mund whimper or groan, curling up a little tighter.
Time can only tell what would come for Alethea.
The man had gone on wandering through the area, more or less repeatedly smashing crates to pieces and carefully plucking whatever he could find from the earth. At this point, he was used to a lack of sleep. This world had done things to him that he could not understand but he presumed it may have been to maintain a grip on him. To keep him as permanent witness to the horrible deeds being done here. Such horrible things.
Even so, the night air that this place seemed to simulate was authentic enough.. What bothered him most was of course, the lack of stars. It wasnât until he started to wander off even further that he spotted a distant fire, a very far off fire. He decided to creep closer, despite how every cell in his body seemed to affirm that it was incredibly ill advised.Â
Stepping closer over the grasses, dead leaves he saw that the fire was of a camp, a very small camp. A woman was there. It made him feel uneasy, the last few instances of trusting let alone interacting with someone else had proven less than productive. Though the fire they had certainly seemed to be low. He supposed adding a few logs to the fire would do no harm. Tossing a few more in, he soon went off on his way back to roaming and foragingâŚ
Mund deeply slept, like she did since she was a child, it didnât matter where she was, what state she was in or her mindset, she always wound up sleeping greatly.
Suppose it didnât help that WHILE she was asleep, a man had contributed to her lowly lit fire, quite generously at that before wondering off, unable to thank nor comment on his activity. Alethea simply wiggled her nose from side to side, a little ash splashing onto the area near her before rolling over and curling up a little tighter than before.
That was until her stomach began to ache. The small twinge of pain was at first, shrugged off, but it took meer moments to grow at larger quantities, eventually Alethea awokened in a groggy manor, fluttering open her lids as she gripped her stomach tightly, slowly sliding her body upward, she stretched. Rubbing both orbs of any dirt or sleep, she slides her legs around to her front so she sits on her knees, patting the ground around herself for her backpack somnolently, eventually dragging it over and flicking it open.
Plucking up a few berries and carrots, she skewers them on a stick she had also, setting them onto her lap as she unties her hair, sorts it and reties. The woman cared for her appearance, but not too much, vanity can be something killer. Hovering the food over the roaring fire, she found herself coming to her senses, twitching her head around now and again to see if anyone was around before looking back up at the skies.
The man had picked up several sweet potatoes, fuming as he had suffered a few bites from those snakes to get both bananas and eggs. If anything it bothered him to know just how hostile the life was here.
The snakes seemed to have no concept of self preservation.
It didnât help that he had no intention of allowing himself to be close to snakes. His mind could only allow so much. The sweet potatoes had helped result in a simple dish, ratatouille. It was nothing special but certainly adequate for a meal. Just eating simply.
He could feel his strength return as his stomach was filled, he left another dish in the crock pot to cook while he went off to explore a bit more.
Mund was hunched in front of the crackling flames, holding the skewered pieces of sustenance above JUST out of reach of the roaring light. Drowsy as the girl was, she figured it best to stay up from here on out if sheâs able. Intaking a hefty amount of air before coughing and spluttering it back out, dropping the skewered foods into the flames, only to gasp at this action, reach out and repeat her line of coughs.Â
Once she settles down, her eyes fall to the burnt stick thatâs now fueling the current light up front, simply staring quietly, she scoops her backpack toward her to look into it for food, only plucking out a handful of berries and popping them into her mouth. Unfortunately, she was running low on supplies due to matters such as this. For a girl of knowledge, she was the clumsy type. Swallowing her food down, she pushes her hands into her face, rubbing it stress fully, âSilly, Silly girl.â Alethea quietly self-scolds, running both hands down to lean her chin on.
With a few moments of weighing out the options in mind, she creaks up to her feet, tucking a strand of hair back as she looks around her for the reasonable areas to explore. Suppose while sheâs got a fire burning she could take a quick run out for supplies..
..Mainly food. With a swift sweep of her backpack, Alethea makes a dash for some nearby limpets she had passed by on her way to her temp-camp.
The smells of the cooking crock pot wafted through the jungles of the isle, through the various trees, past the various prime ape huts and onto the distant beaches. Needless to say, he held little to do, except explore and map out the rest of the island, which while integral also held hidden dangers.
Such as unintentionally stumbling upon a large hive of killer bees. He had to run. Run several times to map out the rest of the area fully, most of the hazards seemed to be grouped up in one corner of the isle. Both good and bad, spiders held a very weak grip on the area due to the bees constant frenzies.
In fact, he was witnessing a âwarâ take place, between the spiders and bees. Horribly brutal. Seeing those spiders being stung repeatedly, while they tore off wings and bit bees in two.
Though, it did at least provide a good amount of free silk to gather. Like a true simple scavenger, he darted around, picking up what he needed before running away like a ninny.
Darting and weaving between the clusters of trees and green life, she darted for a rock of limpets, taking her time to lean onto her knees and toss her backpack beside her, flipping open the pouch to place the limpets inside. Just as she was as placing the sustenance within, she sniffs the scented atmosphere, knotting her brows together as she smells something..delicious?
With a small pause and a little thought, she ran a hand through her wavy locks, humming a bit in thought. 'Perhaps there's someone on this isle also? It seems TOO strong an aroma for a natural scent..' Alethea thinks, turning her head and swivelling it around to catch her eye on the potential survivor. Curiosity piqued, she turns back to the rock, gathering the last of the food before bringing herself to her feet, swinging her backpack over her shoulder and turning upon her heels to make her way back to the fire. With time she found that her sanity wasn't exactly the best, leading to her thinking that if she didn't find them NOW, she may never see them again, as they could leave at any time. Carelessly, Approaching her fire, Mund plops her bag onto the ground and calls out to the stranger, "Hello? Is there anyone here?" the woman calls, thoughtlessly continuing, "I mean no harm."
Because what a better way for a sanity deprived psychologist to seem welcoming than to yell that she isn't dangerous.
