“I suppose that’s alright with me.” She pauses and turns to look at him. “As long as you don’t plan on stalking me later.” She’s joking of course. She really had no problem with him knowing where she lived. This was just her way of lightening up the mood a bit. “I don’t live too far from here actually..” Hikari moves to walk ahead in the direction of where her apartment complex was. She walks at a leisurely pace so he can walk beside her without any issues.

“Hm…kind of. Something like that…” He murmured, quickly sprinting up to join his side. He was practically Naoyuki’s big brother, and Miu made sure of that. “How does it come so easy to you?”

Another interview about the Phantom Thieves was over and Haru was tired of putting on a fake smile for those idiots. They were unjust and needed to be punished. What else could she say? Thankfully, she had gained a few clues thanks to her restless investigation. But for now, it was time to unwind with a nice cup of coffee. So, she entered Leblanc and put on the charm like always.

“Good evening, Sakura-san. May I have a cup of coffee? It’s quite delicious.” She looked around and besides from the shop owner, she noticed a young boy crouching by himself in the corner. Why did he look so familiar? “Pardon me. You are?”

Goro’s head had been down as he had been writing something on his phone’s notes.He hadn’t even even noticed that someone had entered LeBlanc he had been focused on his own world like always. He had been thinking of what to write next until he was startled when he heard a voice calling out to him. Was she speaking to him? He still looked around despite no one else having been present before answering.

“Mom said I could shadow you.” He lied, just wanting to follow around the boy he looked up to..

He was right. Most people would just simply walk away. It was probably the safest thing to do. You never know what kind of motives a stranger could have when approaching people. “I guess i’m more lonely then I really think I am…” Words come out quiet, almost inaudible. Had she locked herself away from society for so long that she was subconsciously seeking out human interaction? Either way, he didn’t seem to mind so it shouldn’t really matter all that much. 

“So…it would be mob justice in a way.” While it does deal people much quicker, less resources, people effort and it would be considered justice is done. Still…he can’t help but wonder about fairness…

“Whether or not if the phantom theives take up their requests…” He takes out his phone in search of a site, called the phansite. While there were lots of people requesting nonsense such as spoiled brats to disgruntled workers complaining to their manager. 

“With that kind of system…would it be …fair? You know how some cases are swiftly concluded because of circumstance evidence. Like…take my situation, if I wasn’t found out, someone else who’s equally connected with a different motive be the one’s name on that sight. Giving me a jail out of free card haha.”

“Yes, it seems that way.” This was part of what Akechi didn’t like about the Phantom Thieves. He understood using a website to find a target, but, he didn’t agree with the changing of hearts at all. Shouldn’t these horrible people pay for their crimes and not be given a second chance at all? It isn’t fair for anyone to get a chance at redemption... Their past crimes cannot simply be forgiven.

“I find it insulting. How can these people give a second chance to criminals?” Unheard of. In this world there are only good and bad people, who are the phantom thieves to try and change with this principle? 

Why had he agreed to this nonsense again? Maybe this had been Goro’s own fault seeing that he had been the one that mentioned not having been to a cat cafe before but that didn’t mean he had been interested in actually going. It had been too late to back out now, as he arrived in front of the cat cafe he gave Akira a manufactured smile although his eyes were probably telling a different story about his lack of enthusiasm for what was about to come. 

That name sounded familiar for some reason. Yet, Hikari couldn’t place where she has heard it before. There’s a small hum and she gives a small shrug in response. “It’s nothing really.” A finger moves to scratch awkwardly at her cheek. “I wouldn’t really call it an act of kindness though..”

“Oi oi, don’t be shy. Come on I got reservations us for this place. We got the place to ourselves.” Was that a mischievous glean from the shadow’s gaze? The ‘place’ was tucked out of sight, and definitely not the place a ‘cafe’ would be.

“They can really take care of you after a long day. Let’s see… oh! Apollo-san’s here.” On the walls of the cafe were lined with cat photos, each with a name tapped on it. The cat ‘Apollo’ is the black cat sleeping on the host stand, staring blearily at the two new visitors.

“What kind of place is this?” Akechi wasn’t sure how he got dragged to a certain place like this -- oh that’s right. He was trying to avoid some people that had recognized him when a stranger decided to swoop in and help him out. Akechi’s pretty sure the coast is clear, he should be able to leave now but it seems like they really are going to this cafe.

“Pfft yes, it does sound like something straight out of a crime film.”

With that kind of profile, he’s impressed well considering the times he talked with Akechi. Considering how many people who were involved in his case they were more eager to get this case done and gone. None felt the need to dig deeper, another example of taxpayer dollars all funneled into that mentality. 

“So…enacting in the name of all that is just and right hm? That’s..well an interesting use of a ‘questionable method’…hypothetically speaking of course. So a bit like Adrestia, or she who you cannot be escaped. ..That is based on if that method really does make you ‘all seeing’” 

“So.. this ‘brand of justice’ how does it work? Like.. an online poll to see how many people really want to see that guy punish?”  

Most of what Adachi said went over Akechi’s head since he had been lost in his own thoughts. Just how many people out there were given opportunities with super natural seeming powers anyway? How peculiar. 

Ah right -- to explain how this justice works, Akechi wasn’t really supposed to know. He took as if he had been pensive about what the other had asked, but really he had just been buying some time. 

She nods her head. “It’s nothing really.” Grey eyes watch with curiosity as he takes one of the mochi before she takes one herself. As long as he really didn’t think it was weird, she was content with this. After she finishes chewing her mochi, she speaks up. “I’m Hikari Sato by the way..” A small introduction was given as she take another mochi out of the package. She decides to save the rest for later. Closing the packaging up the best she can, Hikari puts it back in the bag.
