"I don't think so, sister."

  "I disagree. You shouldn’t believe things like that. Have you happened to have had a bad experience with sleeping?"

"Uhm, not... Is just that I prefer to do other things."

  "uhmmm….no thanks Bellatrix they’re uh….much more useful to me alive."

"They're useful just for you, then."

"My cat has decided to take residence in Amos’ sock drawer. How should Tell him he’s going to be sock less for the next few days?"

"Kill both your cat and Amos. It wouldn't be a loss."

Whatever it is you want, forget it and let me sleep.

"Sleep is for the weak, my dear."

  Rita let go of Bellatrix’s robes and took a few paces backwards, hand wrapping tightly around her own wand as a warning. She was supposed to look confident, right? That was what Sirius said. Stand up for herself because their encounters certainly weren’t over. Despite being in a crowded corridor, Rita didn’t feel safe around the other woman. She could still feel the curse. “Trixie.” She said after a moment, holding her head high and refusing to drop eye contact. “I’m feel wonderful. Never been better. Thanks for asking.”

"Why are you holdilng your wand, little Rita? Are you scared of me? You know I wouldn't do you any harm."

  "Well, they shouldn’t be unless they were the ones to take my clothing."

"It just doesn't make sense."

To whoever stole my clothes from the girls showers and made me run through the common room in just my towel. I will find you. 

"I don't think anyone is interested in that."

"Mmm," he hummed, mulling over the counteroffer. "Add yourself to the list and we have a deal. Sirius and Regulus aren’t enough. I need to guarantee you won’t be turning me in once you have what you want or if things go awry."

"Trust my word and I guarantee your life will be saved."

"That was completely immature!" Rita yelped, cringing under a bucket of cold water that had emptied over her head. The second floor corridor was brimming with snickering students and she outstretched her arms as they passed. Finally she grabbed someone’s robes and tugged them to her with a sneer, rapidly blinking water from her eyes. "Who the fuck spends the time to charm a bucket anyway?”

"Well, well, if it's not Rita herself" Bellatrix said singing with baby's voice. "Feeling good, Skeeter?"

"I think you’d love to bother with me.”

"Oh, of course I'd love to..."

"Does that mean it’s me? Oh—Bella you could have just said that.”

"Why would I bother about you, Lestrange?"

  "I thought it was simple. Tell me what the issue is."

"You used to be so much more interesting than that..."
