noww, if you're curious about my other story related headcanons: I am a full believer that Turbo himself has a glitching-issue that he is "good at masking".

Now you can say I'm overanalyzing everything but to me it felt like Turbo had issues before the Roadblasters incident. Considering Turbo parallels Ralph in many ways, further adds to this headcanon of mine.

Since the glitch that Vanellope has is supposed to represent disabilities in some way, which was a big reason she was outcasted, belittled, antagonized, etc.

Not that Turbo had it as bad obviously. Though some aspects to his history drives me to think Turbo also felt left out for displaying traits that not many people seemed to like.

King Candy/Current Turbo is very obviously egotistical but what if pre-roadblasters Turbo was egocentric. I believe pre-roadblasters Turbo behaved similarly to his current self, however, what if its because Turbo originally couldn't understand social cues, was overconfident(but not on purpose) and convinced himself that others were the problem?

I don't think this justifies his actions or changes his moral standpoint. He's still a major jerk that would ruin other's lives for his own gain. My point is, I def believe he struggled with socializing & making connections with other characters in the arcade(paralleling Ralph).

Nobody seemed to really like him besides the players. Not that it didnt make sense given how overconfident and arrogant he was, but I def do believe that came from him being unable to acknowledge that hes actually being a jerk, and assuming others are wrong for being annoyed by him.

His only validation seem to came from players. While all the other arcade games didnt react so passionately to similar arcade games being plugged in. Turbo was the only one this envious. I believe its safe to say that Turbo definitely would have felt embarrassed, alone and replaced after the players attention would have shifted away from him. He had the most popular game at the time as well.

Can you imagine how much he's bragged about this achievement to his fellow arcade peers, only for this spotlight to be taken away from him.

Hence why I think this added to the reason he gave himself the role of the king of Sugar Rush when he originally took over the game! To think he gets to have the chance to have more game characters to respect him, he gets to be the center of attention again. His fake sona is so vibrant, cute and lively whilst his real form looks dead and creepy.

Sugar Rush itself is like a fantasy land, which definitely made this fake persona role more exciting to claim. Why would he want to give this up when this is the life he envisioned for himself?

You can see how enraged he is when he starts glitching between his real form & fake sona. It's ironic too because he's been calling Vanellope a 'glitch' for many years, out of pure malice. That seen tho portrays him as a hypocrite.

They BOTH experience similar/related issues, and yet, Turbo is antagonizing her for the same thing that he truly was.

He doesn't belong there, he caused another game to break by making contact with one of the objects(he was glitching badly when he made contact too), he's been viewed poorly by many. Yet, HERE HE IS, shifting his problems onto somebody else.
