Lo que se sabe de Mona son unas pocas memorias recogidas de persona en persona, tal vez digan que la marca que dejรณ sobre ellas fue de satisfacciรณn, o tal vez, digan que su paso no dejรณ mรกs que restos de angustia. Lo que nosotros sabemos es que Mona venรญa del mar, y que solo buscaba sobrevivir a su manera. Mona ya estรก muerta, de la misma manera que Lester Burnham lo estรก, y entonces, ver el filme es como recorrer el camino hacia un deceso inevitable. Y la muerte de Mona, fue inevitable dese el momento en que ella decidiรณ ser libre. Tenรญa las uรฑas llenas de mugre, la vestimenta negra cubierta de polvo, las greรฑas que bailaban en su rostro, y la pesada carga de estar constantemente huyendo, de las personas y del frรญo.
En algunos momentos pareciera que estamos viendo un documental, otras veces nos sentimos intimidados bajo la mirada de Yolande, y en su conjunto vivimos la narraciรณn de un trozo de vida que dentro de poco terminarรก. Agnes Varda nos muestra que todos, despuรฉs de tanto, seremos โtan pequeรฑos como un poco de polen en la turbaโ, y no hace falta ser un errante para ello.

As much as it was a complete honour for us to style and shoot a gown by John Galliano, we couldnโt help but realize that itโs still just a gown. Itโs beautiful and impeccably made, but we hated the fact that wearing it was still so current. It was made in 1994 and we are in 2017. Not much has really changed. There are not many options out there for those who are interested in wearing non-garments. As designers, we feel trapped sometimes, as we also create gowns. It feels as though mass society will never want to put away their jean shorts or prom dresses. It feels like magazine covers will always need an eye catching red dress to attract consumers. Tumblr has profited from societyโs dependence on revisiting the past. Nostalgia is holding us back from achieving a brand new vision of life.
