This was a fun piece to do! Loads of fun callbacks to a lot of different statements so I enjoyed putting it together like this.

Did Basira have a shotgun? Does it matter? She looks badass with that shit dude, she got that shit ONNNNN.

I also hope you like my eyeball. It’s weird to be watched as I draw by the familiar look.

The animation took me just about 20hr of nonstop work. I just love these two so much and after the drawing I made of them I really wanted to animate them so I went HAM icl.

I like Daisy with Wild-Untamed-Hair ™️, and cat like eye and short eyebrows, she honestly kind of reminds me of the Admiral if he was human now that I think about it 😭

Also something about Basira with hoop earrings that is a HILL I will die on.

Also, also, also, I really like the idea of short Daisy 🌼, just a small little lass with the most ferocious bite~~~

Guys, I’m combining my two favourite things today:

Parallels between Daisy + Basira and Jon + Martin

Alternate Universe | Power Swapping

Technically, I did the swap wrong, Daisy would have the power of the Beholding because she bares more parallels with Jon and Basira would have the Lonely, but I also like the concept of Daisy leaving the coffin and that’s where she cannot go back to humanity as an Avatar of the Lonely, and Basira going inside to pull her out from inside with her new-found status as the Archivist.

Besides, Daisy is more closer to the Lonely as Basira is to the Beholding if it weren’t for the Hunt, and the Coffin might have exacerbated it.

*SPOILERS [???]*

In this AU, I imagine Basira and Daisy working at the MET but since Daisy has always felt isolated, she doesn’t Hunt, but makes sure people disappear for good. They get called to the Archives upon Gertrude’s body being discovered and things mainly go about the same way, except to the point where Jon ‘dies’ but unfortunately, it was for far longer than six-months so she accidentally took over due to Elias’ manipulation and the contract.

It’s also why she goes into the Coffin, because she Knows Daisy is in there and she feels like it’s her fault.

It’s a very rough idea, one I really did like, but I hope you enjoy the art work YAY!
