quick doodle of one of my oldest ocs. i haven't drawn him for years, i followed his 'latest' design pretty closely with a few changes (making him longhair instead of shorthair + just general housekeeping with style/skill improvements and character ageing giving him body hair and more noticeable muscles) since i drew that 'latest design' ref over 10 years ago now. i made him when i was 7 so his existence is going to turn 20 next year. whew. his name is tawney. i roleplayed with him on the official wcrp forums back when those existed, i had mispelled tawny as tawney and it just stuck lol. i rped with him as tawnystar/tawnyfur. if i remember correctly he started out as a tortoiseshell and then became an orange tabby and then turned into a brown tabby, and i like the brown tabby so i think im just going to be keeping it. i dont know how much ill be drawing him but it was fun to update him a bit

for jase it was his 2nd pass, not any rly big edits but i like the alterations and additions. i especially wanted a different base color for him since i didnt like how desaturated the first one was

im happy with a lot of the progress i made with art this year despite how difficult its been to actually draw (broken pen in july, busted laptop in november). im still working on getting used to drawing on my new laptop but im slowly getting more comfortable with it. hopefully i can pull my files off my prev laptops hard drive, i havent had the time to try yet. template from here!
