Rey is still a nobody to me
I refuse to accept that Rey is a Palpatine. He lied. Thatβs all I can say. He fucking lied and manipulated her powers from afar to make her believe it. Thatβs my tin foil hat theory.
But, seeing as itβs in Disneyβs canon...
You mean to tell me that at some point in time, possibly when he became crusty and deformed AF, Palpatine fucked some poor woman? (And I donβt want to even speculate whether or not it was consensual. Just. No).
You mean to tell me you gave this thing descendants...
But killed this person off before he had the chance?
You mean to tell me that someone wasnβt high on crack when they decided to wipe out all the Skywalkers, which is exactly what Palpatine wanted, and have the last fucking Palpatine take the Skywalker name?
You mean to tell me that this all-powerful space wizard could manipulate Ben Solo from inside the womb, but couldnβt sense his own granddaughter was left on the same planet he built an observatory on?
You mean to tell me that of ALL the options they couldβve gone with for Reyβs lineage, since Disney HAS to appease fanboys and dudebros because there has to be an ancestral explanation for a womanβs exceptional power, they chose fucking Palpatine?!
And you mean to tell me that that was a part of the plan all along, JJ? You expect me to believe this wasnβt a blatant retcon of TLJ to pander to fanboys and dudebros?
And speaking of plans, what the fuck is up with Palpatineβs plan?
First, he supposedly wants her dead as a child (though he later changes it to wanting her to live), then Snoke, who is Palpatineβs puppet, tortures her and orders Ben to kill her, then Palps orders Ben to kill her, then Palps decides nah, you kill me and inherit the Sith spirits, then heβs like oooo, Dyad, I kill you both, then heβs like just die bitch. Goddamn this headache!
