Thinkspace Projects’ “Convergence” at The University of Texas.

Opening tonight - Thursday, January 24th, 2019 - at The University of Texas’ Rubin Center for the Arts in El Paso, Texas is the eleven person group exhibition curated by Thinkspace Projects, “Convergence.”

This exhibition features a series of paintings by emerging and established artists associated with the New Contemporary Art movement: a return to realism and representation in painting with an embrace of popular and counter-culture with themes that range from the fantastic to the mundane. 

Highlighted in the show are recent paintings from each artist, coupled with brand new works from Michael Reeder, Jolene Lai, Telmo Miel, Alex Garant, Brian Mashburn, Wiley Wallace, Scott Listfield, Drew Merritt and David Rice plus a collection of recent works from Casey Weldon.

The exhibition will be on view until April 6th, 2019.
