i cant sleep because there’s coyotes howling outside my window, and this gives me the same feeling as stargazing from a car window during a long car ride. its a similar feeling of being outside right before a storm and looking up at the seemingly endless clouds and feeling really small compared to the world. that feeling is the same one i got when i saw the pale blue dot picture for the first time in first grade, the feeling of being so small. all these things are feelings i wish i could replicate because they feel like pure wonder about the world around me, but i think they have to come naturally to me. these moments are kind of what i live for if i think about it long enough. anyway, the coyotes are done so im off to bed. its 1:51 am, june 10th. goodnight moon perhaps, or goodnight anyone who reads this.
