Pilfering

Nai blinked. “Oh.” He could understand why Gareki would say that. Gareki often gets annoyed of him and yell at him. Nai does his best but he guessed it was still not good enough. Luckily Gareki was getting in a better mood. That made Nai happy, whenever Gareki wasn’t sad Nai wasn’t sad either.

         There wasn't anything to be angry about, really. And Gareki recognized that, mentally admitting he should calm down and just let Nai be. 

"o-oh, okay." Nai did do something wrong—but wasn’t wrong? He was wrong about being wrong. Wait, did that make sense? Nai was starting to feel a little confused. So he didn’t do anything wrong?

         He paused when asked the question, arching a single eyebrow as he watched Nai begin brushing. He stopped fussing, which Gareki was thankful for, but his question was nonetheless stupid. Still, he figured it was best to answer truthfully and without a sarcastic response. 

"Ah!" Nai gasped trying to grab the brush, but instead it hit his head. "Ow!" He raised his hands to cover his head, trying to soothe the bump. That really hurt. Did he do something bad again!?

"Oh." The younger boy frowned. I guess this would be something easy for Gareki. But not for me. Nai worried again how Gareki saw him—is he considered stupid to him?

         Sorry? For what, asking for help? Or was it something Gareki had said? Probably the latter, seeing as how he was awful with words no matter how nicely put. Then again, he never really took 'nice' into account. 

"Eh?" Two large red eyes blinked slowly. Switch? Nai looked down under the collar and could see words written, he could read them but the switched has been pulled down. Did that mean it was ‘off?’

         Gareki watched as Nai discovered and flipped the switch, thus turning the seemingly dead sheep back on. Well, that was easier than expected. 

"Gareki!" Nai frowned, trying to lift one of the Circus sheep, "The sheep won’t wake up!" Nai was really frantic, what if the sheep won’t ever wake up again?

         It was bound one of the sheep was going to fail one day; today seems to be that day. But he admits, it was odd to see a Circus sheep fail without reason.
