Ten years passed, my fursona is the same and looks exactly the same

Okay I'm usually just silent and nodding but since I'm more provocative now, I just post whatever I think is right no matter in what kind of mind our society is right now

Why is it that our society is so concerned with the rights of all races, genders, and sexual orientations, but when it comes to animal rights, our minds are still filled with speciesist stereotypes and lies?

[I'm not against carnists if they just simply don't know the truth. If they're "mmm bacon", "I'll take twice more of animal products just because you made me feel guilty for my actions (<—— good luck with cancer)" and "animals deserve to suffer" then yeah, I'm against them.]

Before I went to almost-vegeterian many years ago, I was just a kid without knowing what supply and demand is, so I thought "well, animal is already dead, I can't do anything with it...". Then I also was being told by adults stuff like "vegan can't get enough protein", "we NEED meat or we'll die", "being vegan is unhealthy" and other stuff, that they also usually saw on TV. Of course after research and watching documentaries (god, you all have to watch Earthlings. It's a bitter, bitter truth) I understand now how wrong it is

Not much time ago we got a mouse in our house and we catched her in a bucket. I thought that we'll just take it to the street. Minutes passed. My brother came and said mouse is over. I asked what does it mean. Turned out he poured boiling water over it until mouse died. I was mad and cried. I'm pretty sure for some reason he was raised to ignore knowledge that they feel everything just like people do. And what can I do with it?.. There's just should be something that would open people's eyes. Just something.
